The Goodnoe Hills wind farm development by enXco is composed of 92.5 m rotor diameter wind turbines at 80 m hub heights.

There is now a row of wind turbines to the west of the BPA Goodnoe Hills tower.  Since over 90% of the energy in the wind at this site comes from the 190-300 degree sector these turbines are expected to have an influence upon wind measurements since late 2007.  The turbines are located upwind of the BPA GH tower about  5.5 to 12 diameters depending upon direction.  We believe that this site now has little value as a long term reference site and may be removed in the future.
